Om Saptarshi Academy was created around a simple idea: people preparing for tomorrow's supply chains should learn not only how these systems are described, but how they actually work.
The Academy is the training and professional-development division of Om Saptarshi International Service (P) Ltd. It draws upon the parent organisation's experience in logistics, customs, freight, warehousing, trade compliance, advisory and technology-enabled operating improvement, while bringing in academics, practitioners and specialists from outside the organisation.

Inquiry is where meaningful learning begins.
We live in a world where information is abundant, but understanding remains uneven. Access to facts is no longer the real challenge. The greater challenge is to ask the right questions, understand context, connect ideas, test what we know, and apply knowledge with sound judgement.
Om Saptarshi Academy has been created around that principle.
Our aim is not merely to deliver courses or transfer information. We want to help learners move from curiosity to understanding, from understanding to knowledge, and from knowledge to practical application.
In our context, that journey is especially important.
Supply chains, logistics and international trade no longer operate within isolated boundaries. They are shaped by technology, regulation, economics, sustainability, geopolitics, infrastructure and human decisions. A professional working in these fields therefore needs more than technical familiarity. One must learn to see connections, interpret change and respond thoughtfully to real situations.
This is why practical application will remain central to our approach.
Wherever possible, learning at the Academy will move beyond theory into cases, simulations, field exposure, operational examples, problem-solving and interaction with practitioners. Knowledge becomes meaningful when it helps someone understand a process better, improve a decision, solve a problem or perform a responsibility with greater competence.
We also believe that learning should extend beyond formal classrooms.
Through public lectures, panel discussions, practitioner masterclasses, digital content and our growing Digital Library, we hope to create an open space for the exchange of information, ideas and experience. By making useful knowledge more accessible to those who seek it, we hope to contribute, in our own modest way, to a more informed and aware society.
The Academy has grown from Om Saptarshi’s practical experience in logistics, customs, international trade and supply-chain operations, but its outlook is deliberately broader. We want industry experience to interact with academic thought, technology, research and informed public discussion.
Technology will be an important part of this journey. Artificial intelligence, data and digital platforms are transforming both business and education. We intend to use them where they improve access, productivity and understanding, while recognising that technology is most valuable when guided by human judgement, responsibility and experience.
We are equally conscious that credibility cannot be created by a certificate alone. It must be earned through the quality of what is taught, the people who teach it, the seriousness of assessment, the relevance of practical exposure and the value a learner is able to carry into the real world.
Our learning philosophy can therefore be expressed simply:

That, to us, is the purpose of education.
